About us

Gr8 Hotels was founded by Bas and Bob van den Nieuwenhuijzen and Martien Heinrichs. As grandchildren of Gerrit van der Valk, they grew up (literally) in the kitchen of the family hotels. What used to be their playground turned into a source of education, experience and income. Being part of the Van der Valk family provided an opportunity to experience what it means to be hospitable. With this combination of family heritage, modern insights and current digital developments, they continue to expand their business and services.
